I'm from a historic little village in upstate NY - North of Albany, South of Saratoga - called Stillwater (site of the Turning Point of the American Revolutionary War). I have been active in theater for most of my life; from my early adolescence on. My mother and father were quite instrumental in getting a local theater company started with some other crazy people - The Stillwater Players Among Others - gotta love the name. Their first show was Birth of a Town, hence, the historical nature of the Town. From there I grew up doing grass-roots community theater; big shows like Sound of Music, and old chestnuts like You Can't Take it With You, working wherever I could:backstage; as well as onstage ...

I've since worked extensively in the New York State Capital Region with many theater companies. In Albany, I've directed, produced, designed productions and continued my somewhat unorthodox grass-roots training and received a lot mentoring from some very talented people during their off-hours from area colleges: Siena College, Skidmore, SUNY Albany, Saint Rose and NYU to name a few. I acted continually and also attended the Theater Association of New York State Festival, two out of three times times taking home Best Performance and Best Play Awards.

The last few years, I've produced plays for a couple of friends, written, acted in and even produced some short film, got my Equity Membership and have been acting non-stop. I was named "Best Local Actor" in the Metroland Best of 2006 Issue and have predominantly worked with New York State Theater Institute. The actors are all a blast to work - thorough professionals - with production and costume design teams that are top-notch. I also moonlight at Capital Repertory Theatre when the opportunity arises (Just finished performing the role of Freddy Malins in their very well-received production of Jame's Joyce's "The Dead.") I am also currently finishing my undergrads at Russell Sage College in their first-ever "Male Actor Apprenticeship Program (first-ever, in that RSC is an All-Woman's college), minoring in music 'cause - what the hell - and am as busy as ever.

I also have the unusual, but awesome opportunity of being a vocal cover for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra tour over the last few years. The musicians and everyone at Nightcastle Mangement are incredible, the experience has been as fulfilling as my stagework and it also allows me the flex my rockstar muscles ;)

I feel I have the energy, direction, imagination and industriousness as an actor to make a go at this biz. I'm have a strong presence, am physically fit, and am incredibly comfortable on stage. I have a strong voice, a good rock-n-roll vocality and am quite adept with dialects. I love exploring the physicality of a character to add substance and detail to a role. I've been known to go to great lengths to create a specific look, gait, posture or other physical characteristic and/or trait that will thoroughly explore the character and finally achieve the desired results - I work very hard and love to do it.
